The finished product size refers to the size of the product in hand, which is 1-3mm smaller than the four sides of the electronic manuscript. “Bleed” refers to the part of the edge that is reserved for cutting. In North American printing, except for the 1mm bleed position on the edges of business cards, other printed materials have 3mm bleed reserved on the four sides.
